• VINTAGE RUGBY WILL BE ARGENTINA’S BIGGEST!
  Rugby fever is about to descend on soccer-crazed Argentina, with news that next year’s Vintage Rugby Carnival in Buenos Aires will be the biggest sporting event ever staged in the South American capital.
  Already some 36 teams from 15 different countries have entered the week-long Carnival, which kicks off on September 17 next year.

• THE NEAREST THING TO HEAVEN IN BIG BOYS’ GAMES
  Perhaps it’s because Rugby Union has been described as “the game played in heaven”. Or maybe that in living longer, men are finding more time and a greater inclination, to keep playing big boys’ games.
  Whatever the reason, more and more men of mature years are returning to the game of Rugby – once the exclusive province of the young, fit and sturdily built.

  “On behalf of the entire nation of Argentina, it is a very great honour for us to host the next World Vintage Rugby Carnival in September, 2006, in our capital city of Buenos Aires....."

• VINTAGE RUGBY GOES TO SOUTH AMERICA FOR THE FIRST TIME
  Vintage Rugby will take its international carnival to Argentina for the first time, with confirmation that the 2006 event will be staged in Buenos Aires.

• GROUND OPERATOR SELECTED FOR VINTAGE RUGBY CARNIVAL
  South America's first Vintage Rugby Carnival will be held in September next year and already plans are underway to make it a truly memorable event for more than 1600 participants.
  Those plans took a major step forward this week, with the appointment of Sundance Spirit as the official Tour Operator for the Carnival which will be staged in Buenos Aires from September 17 - 23, 2006.  Sundance Spirit will provide all accommodation, transport, organisation and sightseeing opportunities for the players and supporters from around the world, seeking a unique Rugby experience.
