October25, Honolulu Hawaii -- Harlequins Rugby Football Club based in Honolulu Hawaii has shot a calendar full of candid and intimate photographs of 12 amateur players by photographer Kelli Bullock. Proceeds of the calendar will benefit a local Hawaii charity and the Hawaii Harlequins Rugby Football Club. "All the featured athletes for the calendar are not only amateur athletes just like you and me but are literally the guy next door. This is really the story of the calendar," said David Delozier President of the HHRFC.
The purpose and intent of the 2012 Hawaii Harlequins Rugby Calendar is to promote the game of Rugby in a creative yet artistic manner, while showcasing 12 local amateur athletes.
"The Hawaii Harlequins calendar is a wonderful opportunity to highlight not only our club, and its but to bring attention to rugby in Hawai'i. We are proud of rugby in the state of Hawai'i, of our players, and of our community network," said Alex Stokes HHRFC Vice-President.
