Day 1    
Transfer to Cape Town airport for your 2-hour flight to Johannesburg.
Collect a late-model rental which includes unlimited mileage and super-cover insurance for the 3½ hour drive to the Madikwe Game Reserve, one of the most successful land rehabilitation ventures ever undertaken in Africa. This 75,000 hectare game reserve, close to the Botswana border, boasts excellent ‘Big-Five’ game-viewing (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and the elusive leopard) as well as regular sightings of the endangered African Wild Dog (often called Africa’s painted dog). All game drives are included in 4x4 safari vehicles with experienced rangers.
Accommodation for 2 nights includes all meals and safari activities at a 4-star lodge (Madikwe River Lodge or similar).

Day 2
A typical day on safari includes morning and afternoon game drives, each lasting approx 3 hours. The late afternoon drive usually stays out after dark in order to search for nocturnal species. Guests have time to relax during the middle of the day when the animals are least active.

Day 3
Enjoy a morning game drive and breakfast before the 3½ drive back to Johannesburg airport.

Day 1
This morning a late-model rental car which includes unlimited mileage and super-cover insurance will be delivered to your hotel. We suggest you take the R62 scenic highlands route which will take you approximately 5 hours to reach Oudtshoorn, an historic small town which is the centre of the world ostrich industry and renowned for its typical South African hospitality. There are many excellent places to stop en-route including the renowned Ronnie’s Sex Shop. We suggest a late afternoon visit to an ostrich farm outside Oudtshoorn.
Accommodation at a 4-star owner-managed guesthouse on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 2
Today we suggest you visit the Cango Wildlife Ranch, famous for its research into endangered animal species. Another very popular destination is the Cango Caves. You should aim to leave Oudtshoorn early afternoon for the drive of approx 1½ hrs to Knysna, voted South Africa’s favourite holiday town. Spread along a huge navigable lagoon, the channel linking the lagoon with the ocean is a dangerous stretch of water known as “The Heads”.
Accommodation for 2 nights at the 3-star Knysna River Club or the 4-star Rex Hotel on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 3
Enjoy exploring Knysna, nearby Plettenberg Bay and possibly even the Tsitsikamma Forest region where numerous adventure activities take place including the world’s highest commercial bunjee jump. It is easy to see why this stretch of coast is the most popular part of South Africa’s famous Garden Route.

Day 4
Return your rental at either George (an hour’s drive) or Port Elizabeth airport (just less than 3 hrs drive).

R2900 per person sharing 4-star accommodation in Knysna.

Day 1

Transfer to Cape Town airport for your 2-hour flight to Johannesburg. Connect with a 1-hour flight to Hoedspruit Airport, gateway to Kruger National Park. Road transfer into Timbavati Game Reserve, one of the legendary private game reserves adjacent to the national park and renowned as the region where the mythical white lions occur naturally. There are no fences and the animals roam freely throughout an area larger than Wales or Massachusetts. The greater Kruger Park area is the finest safari region in South Africa and attracts visitors from all corners of the globe.
All game drives are included in 4x4 safari vehicles with experienced rangers and trackers.
Accommodation for 3 nights include all meals and safari activities at a 4-star lodge (Simbavati or Motswari or similar).

Day 2
A typical day on safari includes an early morning and an afternoon game drive, each lasting approx 3 hrs. The late afternoon drive usually stays out after dark in order to search for nocturnal species. Guests have time to relax during the middle of the day when the animals are least active.

Day 3
Guests occasionally prefer to sleep late this morning … otherwise it’s another early start with rusks and coffee prior to the morning game drive. The rangers will make every possible effort to maximize the quality and variety of your game-viewing.

Day 4
Depart after breakfast and transfer to Hoedspruit airport for your flight back to Johannesburg.

Day 1
Transfer to Cape Town airport for your 2-hour flight to Johannesburg connecting with another 2-hour flight to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Clear immigration and customs and transfer to Lokuthula which consists of 2 and 3-bedroom self-catering units forming part of Victoria Falls Safari Lodge.
Late afternoon sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
Accommodation for 2 nights on a room-only basis.

Day 2
Transfer to the Victoria Falls National Park for a walking tour of the Falls and rain-forest (camera equipment should be covered as protection against the rain and spray which can come from any and all directions). Most visitors spend 1-2 hours at the Falls.
The afternoon is at leisure to relax or possibly visit the craft village to bargain for souvenirs. Remember that the locals will trade their wares for cash, clothing, pens, sporting gear or anything else of potential value. Typical purchases include high-quality carvings from wood or stone.
Evening enjoy unlimited buffet barbecue dinner with entertainment provided by face-painters and typical tribal dancers.

Day 3
Late morning transfer to the airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg.
