The Breathtaking Cape Point
Full Day
Note - early bird departure at 8am and the tour includes Table Mountain
The exhilarating ascent of Table Mountain, a World Heritage Site, which has a constant presence in the centre of the city, is a must for any visitor and provides breathtaking views over the city and its beaches. The panorama stretches from Table Bay to False Bay and around the mountain to the Hout Bay Valley and Kommetjie. On a clear day there are magnificent views across the Cape Flats to the Hottentots Holland Mountains.
Cape Point is situated within the Southern section of Table Mountain National Park, approximately 60 km from the City centre. Cape Point, where the currents of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans meet, is regarded as Cape Town’s “signature” tour.
Highlights of the tour include magnificent scenery, a short boat trip to Seal Island, a photo-opportunity at the South-Western tip of Africa, lunch at Two Oceans Restaurant and a visit to a resident penguin colony at Boulders beach.
